What is Glass Fusing?
Glass fusing is the process of using the high heat of a kiln to melt two or more pieces of glass together. The kiln-fired design is your fused glass art masterpiece!
What kind of fused glass art can I create?
Is there an age requirement to work with glass?
Yes, due to safety concerns we require that artists be a minimum of 7 years old when working with pre-cut glass Kits. For projects requiring the scoring & breaking of glass to produce free form designs, artists must be 12 years old or older.
How does it work?
What does it cost? Glass projects range from $12 - $60. The price of the project you select includes:

Slumping, specialty glass and accessories are extra.
What is "slumping"?
Slumping is shaping a fused glass piece by bending it over or into a mold. Slumping fee is an additional $6 - $8 per project.
Glass fusing is offered on a walk-in basis, no class or appointment is needed! Seating in our glass fusing center is limited though so if you plan on coming in to experience glass fusing with 3 or more friends please call ahead. |
